Our Mission & Impact
WALI’s presence in Balochistan ensures ICT awareness, information, and access for rural areas. We aspire to transform the future of rural communities through technology and innovation via a variety of initiatives for children, youth, women, and farmers.
Current Programs & Services
WALI CLASS
In the age of the Metaverse and cloud computing, rural children, and youth struggle to locate qualified teachers in their small towns and villages. When it comes to girls, it's much more difficult because mobility restrictions and economical constraints become a barrier. Many people give up their aspirations, while others work hard and travel hundreds of kilometers to learn English and computer skills. WALI class aims to reduce distance and financial stress. WALI will bring high-quality teachers, mentors, and gurus online to rural children to teach them in a high-quality learning environment. WALI Class would first focus on English learning and basic computer abilities.
WALI Zamindar
Lasbela is one of Balochistan's most fertile land producing corps throughout the year, located between the Porali and Hingol rivers. Despite this, our farmers continue to struggle to get the most out of their fields. One major cause for this is a lack of knowledge about modern techniques and weather forecasts. Through WALI Zamindar, we are collaborating with agricultural professionals from the academic and scientific disciplines to offer advanced knowledge and information to farmers in their fields through connectivity and regular interactions at WALI.
WALI STUDIO
Even in the times of YouTube, TikTok and other social media platforms rural artists struggle to get in lame light due to limited resources and technological skills. At WALI studio we are creating a platform for local artists, folk singers, teachers, storytellers, and aspiring content creators. WALI studio will provide access to content creation equipment, space, technical support, and media publishing to rural content creators. WALI studio would welcome anyone with idea and rest would be handle by WALI Studio.
WALI TALKS
WALI provides opportunities and space for learning and critical thinking, and we believe that the indirect decisions of people in metropolitans have the greatest impact on rural communities. Through direct interaction, we bring intellectual, civic leaders, community changemakers, policymakers, educators, and journalists in front of rural audiences for experience sharing and understanding from a closer viewpoint.
Future Programs
