WALI's Mission - Bridging the Divide
The WANG Lab of Innovation (WALI) is the first rural innovation lab in Balochistan, making technology and innovative learning accessible to those who need it most.
We create meaningful learning environments, empowering rural residents to utilize technology and innovation to find local solutions for pressing issues like illiteracy, poverty, and climate change, all within their own communities.

Our Story - The Urgency of Access
The challenge of education during COVID-19 exposed a frightening truth: a successful life is often impossible without digital literacy and reliable internet access. In Balochistan, thousands of students were denied online classes due to severe inaccessibility, highlighting the vast gap we aim to close.
This crisis is compounded by national data. According to the UNDP, only 17 percent of Pakistan’s people use the internet, with Balochistan falling significantly short. This digital divide impacts every sector, from agricultural productivity (where farmers lack vital information) to social inclusion.
“We believe that by making technology and innovation accessible at their doorstep, we can empower rural communities, bringing education and knowledge where they are needed most
